Welcome to Les Gites de Carlux!

Arrival & departure time

You are welcome in your gite from 4.00 pm of the day of arrival.
On the day of your departure we ask that you please vacate the Gite no later than 10.00 am.
This provides sufficient time for the change-over to be made.

Key to your gite

At your arrival, first stop would be the reception area, where you'll find the keylockers of all gites.
Open the keylocker of your gite with the code provided by your contact, in order to obtain the key.

Gite & parking

Next to the key lockers, you'll find a site plan with the location of your gite. Each gite has its own parking space next to the gite.

Linen

Bedding, towels & tea towels are provided for your stay. Pool towels are provided during the swimming season. All linen is changed intermediately if you are staying for two weeks or more. It is possible to have a mid-week change of towels, but additional charges are applicable.

Garbage

Yellow and grey garbage bags are provided.
The yellow garbage bag may contain all recyclable materials, such as plastic, tetra brik, metal cans, paper and cardboard packaging.
The grey garbage contains all residual waste, such as food wast, vegetable peelings, any contaminated packaging.

The yellow and grey garbage bags, as well as glass waste, must be taken to the nearest "déchetterie", located at the Route du Duc d'Aquitaine:

Departure

On your day of departure, please could you ensure that the gite is left clean and tidy. The cleaners have limited time especially on days where we have several new customers arriving.

- Please strip the beds and place all used linen and towels in the laundry bag provided outside the gite. Any unused items should be left on the dining table.
- Please wash all crockery, cutlery and pans in very hot water and put away in the cupboards.
- Please empty and clean the fridge, microwave and oven if there is one. Please don't leave food in the cupboards.
- Please take out all rubbish and dispose of it off site in the recycling areas in the village.
- Please make sure the barbecue is clean and the grill left in place.
- In the event of small breakages, please leave a note for the cleaner. Please do not replace broken items as we try to keep all items in the gite matching.
- Please brush and mob the floors.
- Please lock the gite and then return the keys to the keylocker.
