Eglantine
Eglantine is a cozy, modern gite located in the middle of the site with a beautiful view at the 12th century castle of Carlux. Our gite offers spacious accommodation over two floors for up to six people plus a small child or baby. So if you are looking for a well-equipped, lovely gite to spend time with your family or friends, you are more than welcome to stay with us.
Our gite has a L shaped paved terrace with a built-in barbeque, sun loungers and a garden set. In the cottage itself you will find a spacious living / dining room with French doors to the terrace and a wood stove. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. And there is a second bathroom. On the second floor there is a bedroom with two single beds and a large bedroom with king size bed.

LIVING & DINING
LIVING & DININGEglantine has a spacious living /dining room with French doors to the terrace, a wood stove, two sofas and a coffee table. There is a DVD player with monitor. A substantial collection of DVDs in different languages and for different ages is available.
The corner kitchen has a microwave, stove, table top oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, juicer, coffee maker, Senseo, water kettle and is well sorted with dishes, glasses, cutlery and pans. The large dining table seats 6 people. A highchair is available on request.

SLEEPING
SLEEPINGThere is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the ground floor with a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables with lamps. French windows open onto the terrace.
On the upper floor there is a double master bedroom with bedside cabinets with lamps and a wardrobe and chest of drawers for storage and a twin bedded room. There is an open plan mezzanine area on the upper floor and the Gite can accommodate an extra cot and or a folding bed to make the accommodation more flexible for families.

There are two ground floor bathrooms. Both bathrooms are equipped with shower, sink, toilet and electric design heater.

OUTDOOR SPACE
OUTDOOR SPACEThere is large paved terrace with garden furniture to seat 6 for outdoor dining and a fixed BBQ. The paved side terrace has sun loungers and a walled area particularly suited to younger children. There is a view of the village from the front terrace.
The grounds of the Gites are well maintained with hedges separating each property and lots of shrubs and trees. Eglantine has a dedicated parking space to the rear of the property and additional parking for visitors at the rear of the site. Eglantine is suitable for children and people with walking difficulties.

Hi!
In 2008 we came here for the first time on vacation and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the wonderful weather. We found it an idyllic place: not so massive, but with all the facilities to have a nice holiday. Therefore, we decided to buy this cottage. We have refurbished it, tastefully decorated it and equipped it with the necessary luxury to have a wonderful holiday. With great pleasure we come back here every year together with our kids Youri and Faye. We are happy to rent our lovely gite to you so that you can create your own beautiful holiday memories.

Anemone
Anemone is the gite closest to the pool. So if you feel like a fresh morning swim or to cool off in the evening, you are in the right gite. Our lovely terrace, with a built-in barbecue, has a stunning view over the village and castle.
Begonia
Located at the front of the site Begonia has stunning views over the village and castle from its large terrace. The Gite offers spacious accommodation over two floors for up to six people plus small child or baby.
Cyclamen
Cyclamen has a view across the valley to the village and chateau from its large paved terrace. An additional grassed area with trees provides welcome shade in the summer months. The gite has spacious accommodation over two floors for up to six people plus a small child or baby. The first floor has air conditioning.
Dahlia
Dahlia has been significantly modernised and improved over the past 12 years. Located in the middle of the site it has an L shaped decked terrace. The Gite offers spacious modern accommodation over two floors for up to six people plus a small child and baby.
Fuchsia
Located in the middle of the site, Fuchsia offers spacious accommodation over two levels, sleeping up to four people. It has a sunny terrace overlooking the valley, through the trees. This cottage is ideal for a couple or a small family.
Giroflee (not available in 2024)
Giroflee (Wallflower) has been improved and maintained to a high standard and is a much loved and frequently used holiday home. Located at the front of the site it has stunning views over the village and castle.
Hortensia
Located at the front of the site, Hortensia has spectacular views of the valley from its large paved terrace. Hortensia attracts plenty of returning customers and with its built-in log fire is a popular gite for the colder months. The cottage is fully air-conditioned.
Iris
Located in front of the site, Iris has a spectacular view of the valley from its large, secluded terrace. The gite offers spacious accommodation over two floors for up to five people plus a small child or baby.
Jasmine
Located at the back of the site and next to the forest, Jasmine has a large, secluded terrace. The gite offers you privacy and spacious accommodation over two floors for up to six people.
La Tour
Located at the front of the site La Tour (The tower) has a spectacular view over the valley from its large elevated terrace. Its ideal for a couple and has a large upper floor bedroom with a double bed. La Tour is a detached Gite set to the side of the site.
Magnolia
Located adjacent to the woodland to the west of the site, Magnolia is situated slightly away from other gites. Whilst still only a stone’s throw from the pool and children’s play areas, Magnolia is ideal for families who prefer a quieter area.
